busy

To say I've been busy would be an understatement. It's a marathon just to schedule a dinner with DH's cousin and their family. (We did finally settle on 2 weeks from now but shuffling a few things around, aye!) Here's what I have captured lately on my phone ...
Pancakes from scratch on a Saturday morning
I chopped all my hair off. Ok so not all of it, but quite a bit.
The girls getting their crafty on -- I participated too, I couldn't help it!
Got my Sugar 'n Spice VoxBox from Influenster, look for reviews coming soon. If you need an Influenster invite send me an email
I'm ready for spring, bring on the Very Berry Refreshers
I have two posts worth of photos on my camera that need to be uploaded. I'll get to it eventually and you can finally see our bathroom remodel and J's 3rd birthday :) Here's to another busy weekend!

Weekend Adventures

We visited the Indy Zoo for the first time this weekend. The girls had a blast seeing all the animals. We have a very nice zoo at home but it's nice to see some different animals and exhibits. It was a little chilly but the animals were very active. Don't ask me why it looks like A is smoking her pretzel stick, she's just a goof ball.

Because we actually had some warm weather to melt the foot of snow we got I was able to go running. For the past year A has asked to go running with me so we did a short 1.36 mile run together for the first time. It was a little slow but hey, what do you expect for running through puddles and snow piles with a 5 year old?!

How was your weekend?

Screw you winter

I was just hoping for spring and saying what I was looking forward to and then here's what I woke up to this morning.
That my friends is close to a foot of snow on our cars and all over the driveway. I HATE SNOW! Come on spring, you have to be right around the corner.

3 years, wow!

I can't believe she is three! That's right, my little baby J is three today. We are celebrating tomorrow with a tea party. All the kids will bring their favorite dolls or stuffed animals to have tea with them. She is so excited for her party and to be a "big girl".
I'm excited to watch her grow and learn. She is such a sponge and asks a million questions every day. Happy Birthday J!
